NFA

One Time Purchase

Unlimited Trustees

The Traditional NFA Gun Trust is a revocable trust that provides the flexibility of allowing multiple responsible parties, or trustees, to legally have possession of the suppressor (or other NFA items listed on the trust). This traditional NFA gun trust requires a one-time fee for all NFA items.

Once the gun trust is purchased, you will receive a short and simple questionnaire with instructions on completing your trust. After you’ve completed the questionnaire, you’ll receive your trust via email that will require you to print, sign, and have notarized. The trust will also include instructions on how to add and/or remove trustees, NFA items, and beneficiaries.

Lastly, your account will need to be updated to reflect that you are wanting to file under a trust. This can easily be adjusted in your account login, or you can give us a call and we can make the switch. If you’re a first-time customer, when you are registering, be sure to select your filing as a “Traditional NFA Gun Trust” so that your account will reflect that. Your trust will be added to all purchases made through Silencer Shop thereafter. It’s truly as simple as that!

The benefits of a Traditional NFA Gun Trust include:

  • One-time purchase for all NFA items on one trust
  • Ability to name an unlimited amount of trustees
  • Ability to name beneficiary
  • Benefit of adding or removing responsible parties after transfer with an addendum, provided by Silencer Shop at no additional expense
  • A trust generated by a top gun trust attorney to be legal in every state it’s legal to own a suppressor – and specifically designed to hold all NFA purchases
  • Custom name choice for Trust

There is a lawyer that can provide technical support for this trust; but, they cannot give legal advice since this is a do-it-yourself form option. As mentioned previously, if you prefer to work with a lawyer, please visit our lawyer referral page. If, on the other hand, you’re looking for a quick and easy gun trust without spending as much money, this is a great option!

This form is not legal advice and is to be used at your own discretion. Consultation with an attorney is highly recommended and this form is not a substitute for appropriate legal advice in your state.

How It Works

Our refined process generates your gun trust in 7 easy steps:

Enter basic details such as your name and address.
Select a trust package.
Specify who will replace the original trustor upon their death.
Name beneficiaries who will receive the items in the trust upon the death of the trustor.
Provide the names of other users (trustees) of the trust.
Give a name to your trust.
Pay using a credit card.
Once these steps are complete, you can download, print, sign and notarize your new NFA gun trust. After that, new and existing firearms (such as Class 3 / Title II) can be easily added to the trust.
